GluBuddy respects your privacy and is designed to store and process most data directly on your device.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
GluBuddy allows users to log meals, glucose values, follow-ups and preferences. These data are stored locally on the user’s device and are not uploaded to external servers.
PERSONAL DATA
GluBuddy does not require user accounts and does not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address or location.
AI SERVICES
Some features, such as carbohydrate estimation (CarbCoach), use artificial intelligence models provided by external services. When this feature is used, the food description entered by the user may be sent to external AI services only to generate the estimate. These requests are not linked to the identity of the user.
ADVERTISING
The app may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks. These services may collect limited device information in order to display ads.
DATA CONTROL
All data stored in the app remains on the user’s device and can be deleted at any time by removing the app.
